My Story

My Story

Hello: I’m Lyndsey, I’m in my late 40s and I have a husband and 3 almost-grown-up children. I’m based in the UK (Northern England) but work with English-speaking clients all over the world via video call.

I have been a breast cancer patient, which was the beginning of my journey of discovery about stress responses and their connection with the formation of disease, and also with healing. I became aware that my cancer was deeply connected to a particular stress-response that has been unconsciously present for most of my life, with its roots deeply seated in early childhood experiences.

It took me a while to find a professional who could understand that idea and work with me in this. There was growth that needed to happen in order for me not to be a repeat cancer patient in the future. It is true that most cancers come back in the end, or eventually appear elsewhere in the body. It was then that I discovered the Root Cause Institute and was so impressed by watching their free webinars that eventually, after my cancer had been dealt with in its initial presentation by surgery and a whole host of alternative therapies including emotional therapies and spiritual work, I signed up for the professional training.

It is true that all sorts of mainstream and alternative therapies can help the cancer patient, but cancer almost always returns in the end. Only by resolving the underlying emotional issues can real and long-lasting healing take place in the body. This has been my story. I don’t talk about being ‘in remission’ or ‘remaining cancer-free for now’. I talk about being healed. I have done and continue to do the emotional and spiritual work underlying this previously diseased state in my body.

It has been life-changing for me and my family. I hope that it can also be life-changing for you. If you don’t want your life to change, then this work is probably not the right fit for you and it is good to be aware of what you’re looking for as you deal with your own health and wellbeing.
