It’s important to acknowledge that there are many dietary approaches to cancer. People of many different perspectives have much to say about the use of the keto diet, whole food plant based diet, flax seed and cottage cheese, Gerson programme, also the carnivore diet. (Some of these contradict each other: that’s ok, there’s more to this that you might think…)
While nobody can claim that these diets are a foolproof ‘cure’ for cancer, and while mainstream doctors are ill-informed about diet and therefore don’t want to make any recommendations either way, there are powerful stories of people who have shrunk their cancers right down or who have remained with non-growing cancerous tumours for years, using diet. I encourage you to look into this and decide what you want to do. Much of it involves changing the body’s metabolism away from dependence on glucose as a fuel source, promoting immune function and calming inflammation, and making sure that you don’t take in any nutritionally-empty foods. All of this can be done through diet.
I have fairly recently started milling my own organic wheat and other grains (spelt, kamut, einkorn) with a small domestic grain mill purchased through bakerybits.co.uk (again, no conflict of interest in this recommendation!). After I started that, I noticed an improvement in various aspects of my health, skin condition and also the general health resilience of my family.
One thing’s for sure, you need to work on your diet. We all do. If you can’t change your diet to improve your health, then you probably can’t do the emotional work I’m talking about either. It takes a lot of resolve and determination and diet is always the beginning of that.
It is also true to say that there’s no conclusive evidence that diet cures anything. However there never will be, and there will also never be evidence that it doesn’t, because it’s just far too expensive to perform medical trials without the end goal of earning a lot of money selling a drug. You can’t really sell a diet change. Changing your diet is pretty much free of charge.
One thing that my instructors at the Root Cause Institute teach (please see my bio for information about this institute) is that diet is extremely important and may achieve some good results, but ultimately it won’t cure cancer. Cancer has a funny way of coming back. They teach that this is because the same psycho-emotional processes are operating in your body and your body has learnt to grow cancerous tumours already. You need to un-learn this at a deep level of emotional healing.
So yes, please clean up your diet. Also, feel free to take any mainstream medical treatments that you think are sensible. I don’t discourage any intervention (unless the intervention will kill you, then it’s best to avoid it…) And yes, please also do emotional healing work. It doesn’t have to be with me. But I am available if you want to get started.
